Forrest Gump Review

Forrest Gump

Rank 19 as of 1st January 2013
Age Rating 12 UK
CAUTION: CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Forrest Gump seems like the unlikely person to be at most of America's big events, yet he is. The movie shows his life looking for Jenny (Robin Wright) whilst being present at all the great events. "Life's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get"

Played amazingly by Tom Hanks, which he won a incredibly well deserved Oscar for. He sits on a park bench waiting for the bus telling his life story to un-expecting strangers who happen to be waiting for the bus as well. He's waiting for the bus to meet his one beloved, Jenny.

You can't help feeling sorry for Forrest, born with bad legs, the doctor says he won't be able to run. But boy, he can run. "Run Forrest, run!" He enters the army and his best friend from the army dies after he tries to save him, Jenny leaves him. He just seems to have such an unfortunate life, without even realising he does. "Mama always said, dying was a part of life. I sure wish it wasn't."

Overall this movie is great and deserves being 19th on the list! It's such a heart warming, moving, reality-check movie, perfect. "That's all I have to say about that!"
