The Dark Knight completely deserves it's amazing 7th place in the Top 250. It is the best Batman film out of the trilogy (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight + The Dark Knight Rises) simply because of how gripping, tense and heart-in-mouth throughout the entirety of the movie. Boredom from watching this movie is an impossibility. The movie has so much going on it I barely dared to blink, you would feel like you missed something!

Christian Bale plays our hidden hero with such cool, calm, collectability to make the whole movie seem so real and portraying the too different characters he has to play with such acting the different characters of Bruce Wayne and The Batman.

Could there be a man more suited to play the Joker? Heath Ledger plays the Joker in such a chilling way, he captures the Joker for everything he is, a scary, psychotic, evil demon, everyone's worst nightmares specially the people of Gotham. He's such a scary character and has chilling lines. He often said before murdering someone, or during torching them 'Why so serious?' as well as 'Want to know how I got these scars?', making up a different story each time, showing how psychotic the Joker is, creepy huh?!

The movie has won two well deserved Oscars for:
Best Achievement in Sound Editing to Richard King and the totally utterly deserved, Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role to none other than Heath Ledger, completely well deserved!! As well as being nominated for 6 other Oscars, Best Achievement in Art Direction to Nathan Crowley (art director) and to Peter Lando (set decorator) Best Achievement in Cinematography to Wally Pfister, Best Achievement in Film Editing to Lee Smith, Best Achievement in Makeup to John Caglione Jr., also to Conor O'Sullivan, Best Achievement in Sound Mixing to Lora Hirschberg, to Gary Rizzo, and lastly to Ed Novick and last but most certainly not least, Best Achievement in Visual Effects to Nick Davis,to Chris Corbould, to Timothy Webber and to Paul J. Franklin. For more of the awards, click here.

The movie well deserves the awards it got and will be one of the greatest movies in the 21st century.
